Description

The aim of this module is to refresh the learner’s safeguarding knowledge, update their skills and understanding of child safeguarding, and equip them with the necessary steps to take if they suspect a safeguarding concern.

This module will cover:
  • Understanding the various elements of the safeguarding framework.
  • Identifying susceptible children most at risk from abuse and neglect.
  • Implement appropriate processes for effective reporting of safeguarding concerns.
On completion of this module, learners will be able to:
  • Understand the numerous elements of the safeguarding framework.
  • Identify children most susceptible to risks of abuse or neglect.
  • Report safeguarding concerns effectively.
