Description

The aim of this module is to provide the learner with the essential knowledge, tools and resources needed to successfully implement an onboarding programme for new employees.

This module will cover:
  • Understanding the significance of a well-designed onboarding strategy.
  • Establishing a welcoming, appreciative, and motivating workplace for employees.
  • Detailing the phases of a successful onboarding process from recruitment to the first year following appointment. 
On completion of this module, learners will be able to:
  • Describe significance of onboarding and its processes.
  • Differentiate between formal and informal onboarding approaches.
  • Recognise the importance of effective planning in the onboarding process.
