Description

The aim of this module is to provide the learner with a thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities as First Aiders in the workplace. It provides the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively administer First Aid during medical emergencies until professional medical assistance arrives.

This module will cover:
  • Understanding The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
  • The responsibilities and objectives of a First Aider.
  • Recognising the importance of first aid kits including the practical application of their contents.
  • Managing incidents, accidents, and instances of ill health.
  • Providing treatment for minor injuries.
  • Demonstrating basic CPR techniques.
On completion of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Recognise the importance of first aid kits including the practical application of their contents.
